I can't believe that my baby is three! She still seems like my baby. We had a fun party for her at our house. My parents and Jared, Cassie and Nick came up early in the day on her Birthday and the Galloway side came over a little later. She got a lot of cute gifts, but the hit had to be the Hannah Montana makeup that her Aunt Cassie gave her. She loved having the Happy Birthday song sung to her and blowing out her candles. And of course no Birthday would be complete without a Steeler football as a present from her Dad. Brynlie is such a cutie and so funny. We love her very much and love having her as part of our family.

Haircuts
After countless months of screaming and crying and yelling over brushing Rylie's hair I finally decided it was time to get her hair cut. As much as I loved her long hair I couldn't handle the tantrums anymore. Rylie was fine about cutting her hair, I on the other hand had a more difficult time. It was so pretty long. I decided Brynlie could use a trim too, so I took both of them to the salon that I get my hair cut at and they were both so excited. Rylie got about 7 inches taken off. Seems like more to me. Brynlie got only 2 inches cut off. Brynlie was so cute when they took her back. She held the stylists hand and had her other hand on her hip and just strutted her stuff all the way to the chair. Rylie was also really good. She actually talked to the stylist and didn't even act like her usual shy self. Their hair is so much easier to do now. There hasn't been any crying since.

Christmas
This year we had a really good Christmas. We were finally in our house and we had a lot of fun family parties to go to. Here is our family Christmas picture. Can you guess who Santa is? Rylie finally figured it out this year. We had to tell her Daddy was Santa's helper and knew Santa really well. So when she got out of line all we had to do was remind her that Daddy had Santa's phone number and she got pretty scared. Brynlie on the other hand had no idea who Santa was. She was just disappointed that Porter missed Santa's visit.

The girls got spoiled again this Christmas. I really need to stop because one day we won't be able to afford it then they'll really be disappointed. But girls have so many cute toys and it really is hard to stop. Every year I give myself a limit and I always end up going over.
Brynlie got Hannah Montana guitar and keyboard, microphone, and dress up clothes. She also got Barbie stuff, Polly Pocket, Puppy in my Pockets, fishing pole, the list goes on and on. She pretty much enjoyed everything she got and was thankful for everything.
Rylie got a v-smile v-motion, lots of Barbie stuff, Polly Pocket, Puppy in my Pocket, fishing pole, etc. I think she liked everything she got but she doesn't play her v-smile very much, actually not at all so that gift was a flop. Porter and I got our house for Christmas and that was all we asked for.Posted by Jenny and Porter at 4:12 PM 1 comments
Our Home!
This is our master bedroom. I really doubt I will decorate for quite a while. Below is a picture of our master bath. I forgot to take a picture of our walk-in shower, but it is across from the vanity. I really like how the concrete counter tops turned out. The picture really doesn't do it justice.
This is our family room. We have a built in shelf but I doubt I'll have anything up there for who knows how long. I'm struggling trying to figure out where I want to hang pictures and shelves. I keep changing my mind. I love how my banister turned out, but you can't quite see it in this picture.

Here is our dining room and our lovely teeny tiny table. One day we'll have a table to fit the space.

And finally here is our finished kitchen. I love it! There is so much space we even have left over space. I have four junk drawers which is heaven to me. I tend to accumulate a lot of clutter but I hate having it show so its nice to have several drawers to toss it into to get it out of my sight. We all love living here and we never want to go anywhere anymore, which is a nice change from before when we were always running around and spending too much money. That's our home and anyone who wants to come visit is more than welcome to, I'm sure it's going to get a little lonely after a while living up in the country, and I'm so excited to show off our home.
