Our girls have been wanting bunk beds for a while but being the paranoid mom that I am I kept procrastinating getting them. They went from cribs to toddler beds to twin mattresses on the floor. I was always worried about them falling out of bed and getting hurt. ( I won't even let Rylie ride the bus from school because they don't have seat belts.) I guess I worry too much. Anyway, I got their bedding for the bunk beds a while ago and even painted their room coordinating with the bedding but I never put the quilts on because I didn't want them ruined with the beds on the floor. So we decided to finally get the bunk beds yesterday. I never realized how hard it is to make up bunk beds. The girls were so excited to go to bed. They were the ones who wanted me to take their pictures. They loved their new bedding and had to pose with their pillows. I have tons of cute ideas to decorate their room but if I actually get to it, it will be a miracle. They both had a hard time getting to sleep because they are used to sleeping right next to each other. I had to lay by them for a while until they went to sleep, then Brynlie woke up at about three in the morning and wouldn't go back to sleep until about five. I just hope they get used to the beds soon because I don't know how many sleepless nights I can take.

New car!
We finally did it. We got a new car. Actually it's a used car but it's new to us. We have been kicking around the idea of getting a different car for awhile but we weren't really serious about it. We really needed a new one because our Matrix was just too small and if we wanted to add to our family we would definitely need a bigger vehicle. No this isn't an announcement we just found what we wanted for the right price and I'm glad we got it before someone else did. It is a 2004 Honda Pilot. It's the same year as our Matrix but it has third row seating, so the whole thing will fit 8 people. I couldn't and wouldn't bring myself to buy a minivan, it's just not me. Nothing against minivans but that's just a vehicle that I won't buy. It has leather seats and is in really good condition. I'm pretty happy about it. It drives so much smoother than the Matrix. We traded the Matrix in so our payments are just a little bit more than our payment for the Matrix so it wasn't a bad trade financially. We got it from Nate and Andy's in Logan. I really liked working with them, they were very helpful. So needless to say I am glad we got a new vehicle.

My needs
I saw this funny thing on a blog and I thought I would share it. All you need to do is go to google and type in your first name and then 'needs'. I typed in 'Jenny needs' and this is what google came up with:
* Jenny needs to find herself a baller. -I'm not sure what a baller is and what I would do with one...I have a melon baller will that work?
* Jenny needs a Wee Video by Mr. Jingles. - k, kinda random but what do I know.
* Jenny needs a road bike.- Well I actually need a Mountain bike I used to love riding bikes so this one is right on the mark.
* Jenny needs space! - This one couldn't be more true. My kids are on this thing lately where they can't do anything by themselves and are always wanting me to hold them or they are sitting on my lap. I feel a little smothered. I love them dearly, but I do need space.
* Jenny needs your help. - I actually don't know who's help I need or why I need it.
* Jenny needs to step it up.- I really do. We've been in our house two and a half months and I still don't have everything done I need to do. The house isn't decorated and there are still a few things left to unpack.
* Jenny needs Facebook.- No, I don't. I'm still into blogging and I don't need more computer stuff taking my time.
* Jenny needs to leave her bag with me. - Well if they want it they can have it, they'll probably give it right back. There is nothing in there that anyone would want.
There was a lot more, but I just put in a sample of the things. I thought it was kind of funny some of the stuff that was on there. Everyone should try it.
