Camping

Porter's family always does a yearly camp out. They usually go up to Willow Flats for a week and everyone just comes and goes whenever they can camp that week. The girls got to spend some fun time with their cousins and aunts and uncles and grandpa and grandma. Lucky for me we live close by so I never had to spend the night. Easton can and will only sleep in his crib so I went up for the day and came back home to sleep. Porter and the girls slept in the tent. The girls loved it but I don't think Porter got too much sleep. At least that is what he tells me.

There were a lot of 4 wheeler rides, especially to the flushing toilets. The girls and Porter didn't like to use what Rylie named "the hole". Easton loves to ride the 4 wheeler. He would always fall asleep but as soon as it stopped he would wake up.

Porter took the girls fishing, which they all love to do. I don't know if they caught anything. Of course I didn't go because I don't like fishing.

We also went on a hike to the head of the Cub River. That little hike is always fun and really easy for the girls to do. I was exhausted because I had to carry my chunky baby in the carrier and it was hot. The water that comes out of the mountain is always so cold and tastes so good.

They always have tons of things for the grand kids to do while camping. So the girls got to do some crafts and then they did some face painting. They looked so cute as puppies. As you can see on Rylie's cheek it says I love Jacob. As in the Jacob from Twilight. She and Brynlie are still very much into the Twilight series.

WOW!!! That sounds like my kind of camping....coming home at night to sleep. Don't get me wrong, I love to tent it, but not when there are kids involved! Ha ha ha they look adorable. I love the face painting idea :) Miss you....we should do a BBQ
