Easter Celebrations

We had a pretty good Easter this year. On Saturday we went to my mom's house for an Easter egg hunt. Jared was there and my girls just love to play with him and didn't want to leave. Since there was snow on the ground, my mom had the hunt inside. The kids got spoiled with a ton of candy. Then we had a big ham dinner and just hung out.Sunday, the girls woke up early to see what the Easter Bunny brought them and again they got spoiled. Easton had no idea what to think about it. The girls got coloring books, balls, jump ropes, and a tee ball set. They only got a few pieces of candy because I knew they would get a ton from my mom. Much to Porter's horror they also got the New Moon movie. Easton got two new toys that he loves. Later that day we went to Porter's parents house and had dinner and the girls went on another Easter Egg hunt and got spoiled there as well. They got candy and the girls got New Moon t-shirts and pins. They of course had to put the shirts on right away. Rylie and Savanna kept saying how hot Jacob was and then would kiss their shirts. I think they were doing that to get a rise out of Porter. Later we went to the annual rolling of the eggs. I had forgotten to have the girls color the eggs but I did have them boiled. This is when Porter's extended family all gets together and rolls eggs down a hill and then they have a Easter egg hunt after. I still don't get why they roll the eggs and I probably never will but I've been doing it for seven years now and my kids love it.
