April went by really fast. I don't know if it was because we finally had a few good weather days or if it was because I turned 31 and time is hurtling me closer to 32.
Rylie is excited to almost be out of school. She does really well in school and loves to see her friends but she still doesn't like going. We finally convinced her to play t-ball. Well actually we stopped convincing her and she finally came to us and asked if she could play. She's just the type of girl who can't be pushed to do anything. This is her last year she can play t-ball, then she has to start playing coach pitch softball. Hopefully she will like it. Also she recently told us she has a boyfriend at school. Yikes! I thought first graders still thought boys were gross. We asked her why he was her boyfriend and she said because he was funny and screamed like a girl.
Brynlie is one crazy kid. She has done so many funny things this month that I have to make sure I write them down before I forget them all. She is quite the dresser. As you can see from the pictures above she can put an interesting outfit together. I usually have to argue with her on days we go somewhere about what she can wear. She loves to play on the computer. One of the funny things she has said was after I made her get off the computer because she was playing too long. I told her if she stared at the computer screen too long she would go blind then she told me " Then I'd be Chinese!". Another time she had drawn a picture of herself in jail. She went to show Porter the picture and he asked her how she got in jail and she said the police put her there. Then he asked what she did for the police to put her there and she answered " I killed someone." I honestly don't know where she got that from but we thought it was pretty funny and kind of disturbing. Some of the other things she says are she says dickle instead of tickle, she can say her t's but not for tickle. She also has a thing for measuring things but instead of asking how long something is she asks how many pounds it is. Another weird thing she does is says "itch" in the place of "if", again she can say her f's but not for the word 'if'. Sometimes it sounds so funny that we have to laugh and then she wonders why we are laughing.
Easton is five months almost six months. It's crazy how fast he has changed in one month. He is sitting up on his own even though he is still a bit wobbly. When he gets too excited or is shaking a toy too hard then he usually goes flying back and smacks his head hard on the floor so I still have to sit close when he is sitting up. He loves to stick out his tongue and has this new coughing laugh he does that makes us laugh so he just keeps doing it, some days he sounds hoarse after he does it. He loves to be surrounded by his sisters especially if they are reading to him or he also likes to watch them play the D.S. They dressed him up in a princess crown and Porter was horrified that I took a picture of it. He'll be even more upset when he sees this post. I thought it was funny. He loves to play with toys and will sit in his high chair or walker and play while I get something done. He has become an easier baby but he still likes to be carried and bounced around the majority of the time. He is also a better sleeper and I at least get six hours of sleep a night which actually helps me feel like a human being. He has such a silly and mischievous personality. He is going to be a handful when he gets bigger.
