Easton turned 18 months the first of this month. He has changed so much in the last few months. He is the busiest kid! All I do is follow him around and clean up his messes and try to keep him out of trouble. He has earned the nickname 'Beaston'. I think I have been calling him this too often because one day he was doing something naughty and I swear he said "no no beaston" to himself. He likes to destroy anything and everything. He gives the best hugs ever. Sometimes he will pretend to get hurt and pretend to cry so he can get hugs. When he doesn't get what he wants he will hit and throw a fit. My girls never really threw fits so this is a new thing for me. He LOVES to go outside and asks everyday, all day if he can go outside. If it ever stops raining long enough I'll let him out and he can't stay still. He has to step in every single puddle he can find, I'm not exaggerating at all either. He is usually a muddy mess by the time he comes inside. He goes through 2 to 3 changes of clothes a day. I really want the rain to go away. It is so much easier to brush off dirt than it is to wash out mud. He still likes to chase the chickens too. I really have to watch him close when he does this because he is no longer afraid of them, but I am.
He is talking like crazy. Most of it is stuff only a mother can understand. Of course he can say "outside" really well and "mine". He just started saying two words together like "go outside" and "go bath". When you ask him a question he always says "yeah". He calls strawberries "apples", it took me a while to figure this out. I kept giving him apples, which he wouldn't eat, so after wasting a half dozen or so apples I finally realized he wanted strawberries. The girls taught him how to sing. He goes around singing "Baby, baby, baby, ohhhhhhhh". Yes, he is singing a Justin Bieber song. He calls popcycles "gockles" and hot dogs "dot dogs" and can say "Buzz and Tangled " when he wants to watch those movies.
He is a very picky eater and is kind of a nightmare to feed. If he doesn't like it he will throw it on the floor or smear it on the table or in his hair. He likes to throw food, plates, and utensils also.
Sheesh! I'm making him sound horrible. He is sooo cute and funny that all these naughty things are so worth it. I'm worn out most of the time but I love him so much and wouldn't change a thing about him. I hope I didn't forget too much of what he is doing right now. That is why I'm writing everything I can about him because I forget too easily.

I love the name Beaston. That would work for Nixon too...he is a major beast! Nixon throws the fits too...he spits and hits when he doesn't get what he wants...just wait until summer when you get to experience his ear piercing scream! I thought boys were supposed to be easy?? He is so cute though! I can't wait to see how him and Nixon interact. Knowing Nixon, he will be mean to Easton. But I can always hope they will get along!
