Girls

It has been a while since I have posted.  I've been busy.  I need to do a little update on my kids.  The girls just started playing t-ball and softball.  They both love it.  Brynlie is on the same team as her cousin Seth.  They are so funny to watch.  I love that age because no one really cares how they play.

Rylie is playing her first year of softball.  They mix up the teams with girls a lot older and more experienced than Rylie.  I'm not sure if I like that or not.  There are parents out there yelling at their kids if they do something wrong and are very competitive.  Then there is Rylie who has only played t-ball and doesn't know what a foul is or an out or strike.  I was really worried her first game, but she did so good!  Her first time up to bat she struck out but every time after that she got on base and was even able to run the bases.  She catches on really quick to things.  She just needs a little more confidence and I think she'd be just as good as some of the older girls.  We'll just have to practice with her.

The girls kept asking to get their haircut because they hate it to be combed.  I kept putting it off because I love their long hair.  Rylie wanted to have her hair cut before school was over so I finally went and had it done.  My friend Rachelle has a really cute salon in her house so I had her cut the girls hair.  Of course I forgot to get a before picture of Brynlie but they had a ton of hair cut off.  They love it and it is so much easier to do.  I am going to miss the pony tails though.
